The Superior Officers Association for the Policemen's Benevolent Association, Local 108a, represents the Superior
Officers of the Union County Sheriff's Office. Although the majority of the Superior Officers within the Union County Sheriff's
Office have chosen to be represented by the Fraternal Order of Police, Local 103, many decided to remain members of PBA 108a.
The Association was originally formed to protect and represent the rights of the Superior Officers within the Union County
Sheriff's Office.
While the collective bargaining and administrative representation is handled by FOP 103, PBA-SOA
membership is still open to any PBA member in good standing who is promoted to the rank of sergeant or above that wishes to
remain a part of the PBA family.
